Loading Officer

To coordinate and supervise the safe, accurate, and efficient loading of goods onto vehicles, ensuring that all products are correctly picked, checked, documented, secured, and dispatched according to company procedures and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the loading of goods onto delivery vehicles.
• Verify that the correct products, quantities, and destinations are loaded.
• Check loading documentation, delivery notes, dispatch documents, and related records.
• Ensure goods are loaded safely and securely to prevent damage during transportation.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, dispatch personnel, and other relevant departments.
• Conduct final checks before vehicles leave the loading area.
• Report shortages, damages, discrepancies, or incorrect stock immediately.
• Ensure loading activities comply with company health and safety procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping and order in the loading area.
• Monitor loading times and help ensure vehicles depart according to schedule.
• Assist with stock counts and investigations into loading or dispatch discrepancies.
• Ensure that company equipment and loading facilities are used correctly.
• Complete daily loading and dispatch records accurately.
• Support continuous improvement of loading and dispatch processes.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or loading environment.
• Experience in stock handling and dispatch operations.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Good knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and complete dispatch and delivery documentation.

Experience

2–3 years’ relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, dispatch, or loading operations is preferred.

Pay: R10 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
