Loading Shovel Driver - Night Shift

We are looking for experienced Mobile Plant Machinery Operatives, who can operate plant such as Front Loading Shovel and Excavators but will also be prepared to train up on Tractor & Bowser, Shredder and Screener Operations, to join our night shift team at Winkleigh.

The purpose of the role is to operate the plant and associated equipment to facilitate production of materials for our customers needs.

Hours of work are: Monday to Friday working a night shift - minimum of 50 hours per week with a 30 minute lunch break each night.

Responsibilities as Mobile Plant Operatives:

• Operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner
• Load out of material for processing
• Undertake all loading shovel operations as required
• Complete the necessary machine checks before and after operations daily
• Follow site Health and Safety rules and procedures at all times
• Excellent communication skills are needed by use of a two way radio

Successful candidates must hold a valid license and must have previous experience of working in a similar environment which is out doors. If you are first aid trained this will also be beneficial.
