Position Summary

The Load Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient coordination of outbound loads. This role supports shipping operations by verifying load accuracy, minimizing discrepancies, and maintaining workflow between team members.

The Load Coordinator executes daily priorities as directed by the assigned supervisor and ensures all work is completed in alignment with operational, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee outbound load preparation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Pull and stage loads according to schedules.
• Verify load accuracy to minimize shortages and discrepancies (target: 100% accuracy).
• Communicate with team members to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation and system updates.
• Assist with loading activities as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dock and freezer areas.
• Follow all safety, PPE, and food safety policies.
• Report safety issues or concerns immediately.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work in cold environments ranging from below 32°F to -35°F
• Stand and move for extended periods.
• Lift up to 60–70 lbs and place items up to 80 inches high.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to operate or learn powered industrial trucks.
• Ability to follow instructions in English.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to follow supervisor direction.
• Demonstrated reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Warehouse or distribution experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Cold storage experience.

Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or adjusted start times as needed.

Reporting & Accountability

• Reports to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor.
• Follows supervisor direction for daily work priorities.
• Expected to seek guidance from supervisor before escalating concerns.
