Loan Officer Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant to join my team. In this role, you will support throughout the loan origination process, ensuring smooth and compliant mortgage transactions. Your will help facilitate client communication, manage basic loan documentation. This position is a fast paced job and organization is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Assist loan officers with the entire loan origination process, including application intake, document collection, and preliminary credit analysis
• Support mortgage servicing activities by tracking loan statuses
• Maintain effective internal communication with team members to coordinate loan processing steps and ensure adherence to compliance standards
• Prior experience as a Loan Officer Assistant or in a similar role within the financial services or mortgage industry would be ideal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel for documentation and data management
• Chat GPT and AI proficiency is also a huge component to the position
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams
• Attention to detail for accurate loan documentation
• Basic math skills including 10-key typing for data entry tasks
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
