What You’ll Be Doing

• APDS & Teachers Loan Acquisition: Actively hunt for new loan clients, market Sun Savings Bank’s APDS product offerings, and aggressively expand our borrower pipeline among public school teachers across Dumaguete and surrounding school districts.
• DepEd & School District Engagement: Lead daily field visits, coordinate with school heads and district officers, and deliver group loan presentations to educators during school visits, events, and paydays.
• End-to-End Application Management: Guide teacher-applicants from initial sales pitch through document gathering, payroll deduction validation, and final disbursement.
• Credit Assessment & APDS KYC: Perform initial screening, verify DepEd pay slips, validate employment status, and conduct field Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks to ensure submission of complete and credit-worthy loan folders.
• Compliance & Institutional Standards: Ensure all sales, field verifications, and deduction authorizations strictly comply with DepEd APDS guidelines, BSP regulations, and bank policy.

What We’re Looking For

Core Skills & Competencies

• APDS & Salary Deduction Expertise: In-depth knowledge of DepEd payroll mechanics, net take-home pay requirements, APDS billing cycles, and teacher loan documentation requirements.
• Field Sales & Relationship Management: Proven ability to build rapport quickly with educators, principal association leaders, and school administrative personnel.
• Credit Evaluation & Financial Numeracy: Strong analytical skills to evaluate teacher pay slips, calculate debt-service ratios, and identify potential credit risks on the field.
• Detail Orientation & Data Integrity: Meticulous approach to verifying government IDs, employment credentials, and loan agreements to prevent documentation errors and processing delays.

Experience & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in direct field sales, microfinance, or salary loan distribution—with direct experience handling APDS / DepEd Teachers Loans preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Banking, or any related field.
• Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and own a motorcycle for daily field visits and travel across assigned school zones.
• Tech Literacy: Proficient in mobile reporting apps, basic spreadsheet tools, and digital document collection.
