Loan Processing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Residential Mortgage Loan Processor to manage loan documentation, clear processing conditions, and support timely closings. This individual will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure title, insurance, collateral, and disclosure requirements meet Morgan Stanley guidelines while delivering a high level of client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Request, review, and verify loan processing documents, including title and insurance.
• Clear insurance, collateral, disclosure, and title conditions within the loan operating system.
• Ensure title and insurance documents meet Morgan Stanley guidelines.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external partners regarding required documentation, lender-side conditions, and timelines, including title, appraisal, and homeowners insurance.
• Manage an individual loan pipeline and collaborate with Mortgage Specialists and internal partners to meet client expectations and closing deadlines.
• Monitor loans through the closing stage to ensure documentation remains current.
• Independently identify issues, proactively resolve challenges, and maintain accurate, high-quality loan processing.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of residential mortgage loan processing experience.
• Proven ability to maintain quality loan production while managing a large client base.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
