Loan Servicing Representative

The Loan Servicing Representative performs a wide variety of customer service, clerical, technical, and loan servicing support functions for internal and external customers. This role executes tasks within Loan Servicing, including payment processing, account research, error resolution, escrow activity, payoff and release requests, tickler and report review, and other servicing functions, while supporting efficient workflow and service delivery across the Loan Servicing structure.

Essential Job Function:

• Responds to routine servicing inquiries from internal and external customers in a professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Researches routine payment questions, transaction activity, payoff requests, escrow inquiries, and general account questions.
• Assists with routine system error resolution, account maintenance, and servicing research.
• Protects the banks assets and maintains the confidentiality of customer information.
• Routes complex or out-of-scope issues to appropriate associates, departments, or supervisors

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefers at least two years of previous banking, lending, loan servicing, loan operations, or customer service experience.
• Prefers knowledge of current lending regulations.
• Requires computer proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Demonstrates accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow established procedures.
• Communicates clearly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality and using tact and discretion
