Full Time, In Office Position
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am -5:00 pm; Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm
PG 5N; Salary $33,150.00 Yearly

Summary
Employee will perform servicing, delinquency management, and default prevention activities on federal and private student loans to ensure compliance with department and corporate policies and due diligence requirements.

Job Duties

• Receives inbound and makes outbound calls to borrowers manually and through a predictive dialer.
• Educates borrowers on available repayment options and assists them in determining the most appropriate option to prevent and resolve delinquency.
• Demonstrates excellent listening skills and utilizes available resources in order to understand and assist borrowers.
• Ability to communicate via telephone and e-mail.
• Utilizes superb customer service skills and call control techniques.
• Ability to handle upset borrowers and challenging situations.
• Documents borrower history accurately, clearly, and thoroughly.
• Research account history, imaging, and other resources to effectively service the loan.
• Contacts third parties such as employers and references to obtain borrower information
• Consistently meets department goals and deadlines.
• Demonstrates excellent attendance, punctuality, and time management skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months of call center experience preferred
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to navigate multiple screens while talking and typing
• Experience in debt collection, sales, or student loan servicing preferred
• Predictive auto dialer experience preferred
• Working knowledge of student loans preferred
