Loan Servicing Specialist

Essex Bank’s fast-growing Loan Department is looking for a motivated individual to fill the position of Loan Servicing Specialist to perform all facets of mortgage and loan servicing.

The qualifications and attributes required for this position include:

• Process paid mortgage/loan documentation, construction loan disbursements, loan payoffs and follow-ups on maturing accounts.
• Handle bill payments and reconciliations
• Track Insurance details including record maintenance, data entry, policy follow-up, monthly reporting, and escrow insurance premium payments.
• Customer Service support to aid branch personnel and customers with loan questions/concerns.
• Administration duties including research, coworkers and manager task assistance, preparing closing documents, setting up accounts.
• Maintain tax payment records, disburse tax payments and follow-up on non-escrowing tax payments.
• Prepare and remit investor loan payments and participation loan payments.
• Prepare other various reports including delinquency and Fannie Mae 582.
• Assist with Commercial Loan Origination and Commercial Servicing.
• Cross-train within the Loan/Mortgage Administration Department to assist other areas during vacations and time of need.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of one to two years of related experience and/or training. Sound knowledge of Word, Excel, loan software, and data center software required to perform this job successfully.
