About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Loan Staff to join Welcome Bank (Rural Bank), Inc. in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our lending operations and client services division. As Loan Staff, you will be responsible for supporting the entire loan lifecycle, from initial client inquiry through to loan disbursement and servicing. This role is essential to maintaining our commitment to providing accessible financial services to our community whilst ensuring compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Processing loan applications and verifying applicant information for accuracy and completeness

• Conducting preliminary credit assessments and preparing loan documentation

• Coordinating with clients to gather required supporting documents and information

• Preparing loan proposals and presenting them to the loan committee or approval authorities

• Processing loan approvals and ensuring all conditions precedent to disbursement are satisfied

• Scheduling and coordinating loan disbursement procedures with clients and internal departments

• Maintaining accurate and organised loan files and records in accordance with banking standards

• Assisting clients with loan inquiries, account information and other-related matters

• Ensuring compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and anti-money laundering regulations

• Collaborating with other departments to facilitate smooth loan operations and client satisfaction

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or a related field is preferred
• Proven experience in loan processing, or banking client services, ideally within a financing/ banking environment
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately process complex loan documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
• High level of responsibility, integrity, and commitment to handling sensitive financial data.
• Ability to follow strict lending procedures and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Good communication and organizational skills to manage multiple applications efficiently.
• Can report to work immediately.
