Loan Shepherd is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Loan Support Officer to join our growing team. You'll work closely with our brokers and a wide panel of lenders, helping keep applications on track from enquiry through to settlement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support brokers in preparing, structuring and submitting finance applications to our lender panel
• Manage the day-to-day progression of applications from enquiry through to settlement
• Liaise with lenders, customers and referral partners to gather documentation and resolve outstanding requirements
• Track application status and proactively follow up to avoid delays
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM and broker systems
• Ensure all files meet responsible lending and compliance requirements
• Provide a high standard of customer service throughout the loan process
• Assist with general administrative and operational tasks as the business grows

What We're Looking For

• Experience in loan processing, mortgage administration, or a similar support role within finance or broking
• Understanding of lender policies, credit assessment and the loan application process
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Customer-first approach with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Experience using CRM or broker software

This isn't a role where you'll get lost in someone else's playbook. You'll work closely with Tim and the broking team, learn the industry from the ground up across residential lending, first home buyers, SMSF, commercial, and business acquisitions, and have real input into how we grow.
