What they need

Primary Funding Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Loan Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone eager to build a career in credit and alternative lending while gaining hands-on experience across underwriting, portfolio management, and operations in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

About Us - Primary Funding Corporation (PFC) is based in San Diego and provides alternative lending solutions to businesses across a variety of industries. Our core product is factoring, and we support companies from early-stage startups to those generating $25M+ in annual revenue. We take pride in building long-standing client relationships through exceptional service, transparent pricing, flexible terms, and efficient approvals.

Our Culture - At PFC, who you are matters just as much as what you can do. We are a close-knit, team-oriented organization that values integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement. We’re looking for someone who wants to contribute to a collaborative environment and grow alongside the company.

Our Core Values:

·        Be truthful and only make promises that you can keep

·        Find ways to improve yourself and the company

·        Be respectful - treat others the way you want to be treated

·        Embrace change for the sake of progress

If these values resonate with you, we encourage you to apply.

Role Overview - The Loan Support Specialist will support the Credit Department and broader operational efforts at PFC. This position provides exposure to underwriting, client onboarding, and portfolio management, offering a strong foundation for growth within the alternative finance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Support underwriting by organizing applications, reviewing documentation, and assisting in due diligence efforts

·        Conduct basic research and gather information to support credit analysis

·        Assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring accurate setup and smooth transitions

·        Manage ongoing portfolio activity, including processing funding requests and applying payments

·        Provide administrative support for the Sales and Operations teams

·        Deliver ad hoc administrative and project support to the VP of Credit

Who You Are:

·        Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

·        Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

·        Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Effective communicator, both written and verbal

·        Professional, collaborative, and respectful in both internal and external interactions

·        Adaptable, eager to learn, and willing to take on evolving responsibilities

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word), and quick to learn industry-specific software

Preferred:

·        Working knowledge of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable)

·        Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field; or

·        Relevant experience in lending, banking, accounting, or financial services

Why Join PFC - This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful experience in credit and lending while working closely with a supportive, experienced team. As PFC continues to grow, there will be opportunities to expand your responsibilities and develop into more advanced roles within credit and portfolio management.

Compensation & Benefits:

·        Full-time, onsite position (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

·        Salary: $60,000.00 annually (commensurate with experience)

·        100% employer-paid healthcare for the employee, with competitive dental and vision coverage

·        Paid vacation time and company-observed holidays

·        Company-matching retirement plan

·        Annual vacation fund to support personal travel and work-life balance
