Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, manage and motivate a team of Loan Officers.
• Set clear individual and team targets and drive performance against them.
• Develop and grow the company's micro and SME lending portfolio.
• Drive customer acquisition and identify new lending opportunities.
• Monitor Loan Officers closely to ensure consistent productivity and achievement of targets.
• Drive loan repayments and collections, including follow-up and enforcement where necessary.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and ensure effective recovery actions are taken promptly.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified borrowers.
• Drive the adoption and usage of the company's POS machines among suitable customers.
• Promote and grow the company's savings mobilisation activities.
• Monitor portfolio quality, repayment performance and overall loan officer productivity.
• Produce regular performance reports and provide management with clear updates on results and challenges.
• Identify underperforming staff and take appropriate corrective action.
• Build a disciplined, accountable and high-performance lending team.
• Ensure that company lending policies, procedures and KYC requirements are followed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in lending, microfinance, banking, fintech or a related financial services role.
• Minimum qualification of HND.
• Demonstrable experience managing or supervising a sales, lending or field team.
• Proven ability to work with and achieve measurable targets.
• Experience in loan recovery/collections will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work full-time from our Lekki office.
• Must be able to recruit and manage a team of Loan Officers.
