Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a lively atmosphere while providing top-tier customer service.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Develop and refine beverage recipes, incorporating current trends in mixology and guest preferences to enhance the bar menu.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Handle cash handling procedures accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy periods, including catering events or nightclub nights.
• Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beers, wines, and mixers; assist with stock ordering and storage management.
• Uphold high standards of food safety, beverage presentation, and responsible alcohol service at all times.
• Assist in bar management duties as needed, including training new staff or overseeing shift operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments or upscale hospitality venues; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, and beverage recipe development.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math understanding for sales transactions.
• Previous hospitality industry experience with a focus on beverage service is highly desirable; fine dining or retail experience is advantageous.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
