Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage offerings
• Manage cash transactions accurately using Micros POS, processing payments efficiently and securely
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to delight guests and encourage sales
• Monitor inventory levels of spirits, wines, beers, and bar supplies; communicate needs for restocking
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy periods, including catering or banquet events when applicable

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality environments; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a bar setting
• Experience in bar management or hospitality industry roles that involve beverage service or food service experience is highly desirable
