Job Summary

The overall duties of a lobby host / hostess at Tastia Restaurant and Bakery includes welcoming customers to a food service environment and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. A Host’s duties primarily focus on ensuring the guests have a positive experience as soon as they enter the restaurant.

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities

• Welcome guests as they come in
• Menu recommendation to customers.
• Make recommendation on specialties.
• Accurately take customer order
• Ensuring cleanliness in the lobby area
• Assist wait staff as needed
• Accurately communicate the order to cashier
• Adhere to food sanitary and safety standards
• Timely attend to customer order

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress, Lobby host /hostess
• Knowledge of basic restaurant etiquettes
• Attentiveness to taking orders
• Strong multitasking skills, with ability to work in fast paced environment
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Provide excellent customer service and food experience.
• Team Player

• Applicants must live within Festac and Victoria Island

Pay: ₦75,000.00 - ₦85,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Lobby Host/Hostess: 1 year (Preferred)
