We're hiring CDL-A drivers with no experience for a local position out of Colton, CA. Run consistent lanes through the Inland Empire and LA area, get home daily, and earn strong hourly + stop pay.

Pay

• Stop pay: $18.71 per stop
• Average weekly earnings: $1,400-$1,800
• Weekly mileage: ~1,500 miles

Job Details

• Position: Local , Full-Time
• Freight: containers secured on chassis
• Schedule: Night shift, Sunday-Thursday, Tuesday-Saturday
• Average 3-6 loads per day
• Load/unload: preload, drop and hook

Lanes

• Runs out of 5 ramps: Long Beach, Los Angeles, Commerce, City of Industry, Bloomington
• Also runs north on the Grapevine into Shafter/Lebec areas

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• No hazmat endorsement required
• Minimum age 21
• Clean driving record
• No SAP program participation or DUI history
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A truck on local intermodal routes
• Secure/unsecure intermodal containers on chassis
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD electronic logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding trip progress
