Local Driver

Job Summary
Looking for a reliable, Class B or A CDL with tanker endorsement driver that's not afraid to get dirty and work hard. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pumping grease traps and used cooking oil safely and within designated routes. This position requires an understanding of various types of trucks and pumps, as well as the ability to navigate local roads while adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties

• May operate various types of pumper trucks
• Execute route driving assignments efficiently while ensuring timely pickups.
• Pump grease traps or oil pick ups at multiple locations a day
• Maintain accurate records of service and submit paperwork daily
• Perform routine inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Ability to operate a PTO pump and man handle hoses
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during operations.
• Maintain a clean truck and area.
• Assist with various yard tasks as needed

Experience

• Previous experience in truck driving or route driving is preferred.
• Familiarity with PTO pumps is a plus.
• A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is needed for this position.
• Knowledge of local roads and routes is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.
• Willing to train the right person

Schedule

• Late evenings or early mornings as early
• Monday through Friday avg starting at 20+ hrs/week
• More hours available not driving

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Commercial vehicle driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL (Required)
• Tanker Endorsement (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Moses Lake, WA 98837 (Required)
