Local Driver/Moving Helper

Full Job Description

New England Household Moving & Storage is a family-owned moving company based in Holliston, MA. We're looking for dependable, hardworking Local Mover/Driver and Moving Helpers to join our team.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate box trucks to transport household goods to and from customer locations
• Load and unload furniture and household items using proper lifting techniques and moving equipment
• Handle customer belongings with care to prevent damage to property and items
• Communicate professionally and courteously with customers throughout the move
• Complete required move documentation accurately at each job
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance issues

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate a box truck confidently
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly throughout the day
• A customer-first attitude — our customers are trusting us with everything they own on one of their most stressful days
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Bonus Points If You Have

• Prior moving, warehouse, or physical labor experience
• Experience with moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and furniture pads
• Bilingual a plus

Pay starts at $18 per hour for Helpers, $22 per hour for Drivers

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
