Local Mechanical Design Engineer

Qualifications

• Candidate is preferred to have at least an Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering or 3 years’ experience as a machine designer
• Proficient with Solid Edge or Solid Works
• Ability to work as a team, with good communication skills, among fellow employees, as well as with customers
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create designs for automation and process equipment that meets customer specifications
• Review mechanical prints for accuracy prior to release for production
• Develop documentation manual for assigned projects
• Mindfull of project timelines and budgets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
