About Cera

Cera is the UK's largest HealthTech company and one of Europe's fastest-growing businesses – harnessing preventative technology and AI to take care out of Britain's hospitals and into patients' homes. Our 10,000 carers and nurses deliver around 2.5 million patient home visits a month – a volume greater than all A&E attendances across England.

Cera is now Europe's largest HealthTech company and one of its fastest-growing businesses, with circa $500 million in annualised revenues, and 150-fold growth in impact over the past five years. Cera has also gathered the largest home healthcare dataset in Europe, powering the development of cutting-edge AI products that have reduced hospitalisations by up to 70%, saving the UK Government and NHS more than £1 billion to date.

The UK's Number 1 ranked HealthTech company, Cera's pioneering approach has been recognised by numerous industry awards including a Newsweek AI Impact Award, the UK Tech Awards' Tech for Good Prize, Health Tech Digital's Best Use of Artificial Intelligence, the Deloitte Fast 50 and EY's prestigious UK Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2024. Cera was recently recognised by TIME Magazine as one of the World's Top HealthTech Companies, and has been recognised as the Number 1 Healthcare AI Company for 2025.

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised, self-motivated and charismatic Local Recruiter to help support our local recruitment efforts. You will have the opportunity to build impactful relationships within the community to help drive brand awareness and to support more people moving into a career in care.

The Recruitment Marketing team supports our high volume Carer Acquisition team to hire Professional Carers nationwide. This role is to help further establish and grow offline recruitment channels in the local communities that we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a small cohort (3-5 branches, that may change depending on business need) of branches to grow their offline candidate pool, these are traditionally branches that struggle to recruit via channels such as job boards so you'll need to think outside of the box!
  • Be based in our care branches locally to you depending on business need - there will be a requirement for frequent travel in the role to visit branches and to attend events where required.
  • Build and maintain strong local community ties to ensure a steady pipeline of opportunities.
  • Liaise with branches and Regional Relationship Managers to ensure key requirements are understood so that partners can identify the most suitable candidates.
  • Manage candidates through the recruitment process, including Interviewing candidates in a timely manner (sometimes in-person) and supporting with the orientation/compliance process where needed
  • Organise, source and attend all local events in the community - branch event champion!
  • Support branches to understand the importance of locally managed attraction strategies such as their local facebook page or employee referral scheme
  • Review data and performance of local campaigns on an ongoing basis
  • Reporting and providing performance feedback weekly
  • Creating engaging and thorough material to discuss performance on branch visits/calls
  • Be a longer-term thinker! We want you to be the voice for care locally by attending school talks, fairs, University/College job fairs, sector days etc. as required, to attract people to a career in care
  • Support the central marketing function to source and create case studies/stories for local PR opportunities to drive brand awareness
  • Ensure a highly positive and engaging experience for our Cares, which will play a pivotal role in long-term retention and overall job satisfaction in the branches you support
  • Ultimately become a key member of the branch teams you support - being the on the ground company voice for recruitment and brand awareness more generally

Qualifications and Skills

  • Being a driver with your own vehicle is essential for this role.
  • Proven success/experience in a fast-paced recruitment/engagement environment
  • Experience working within care or a healthcare setting desirable
  • Public speaking - happy to attend events and comfortable presenting to groups/individuals about care roles
  • Event management - Skills in planning, booking and coordination of events
  • Account management - experience in sourcing and liaising with a host of internal and external stakeholders
