Location Manager

Job Summary:

The Location Manager will direct and supervise the staff and day-to-day operations of a regional well servicing yard, driving positive financial results through sales growth, cost control and effective pricing strategies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Recruits, interviews, selects, and trains qualified candidates for open positions.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive, providing recommendations for promotion and salary adjustment as appropriate.
• Plans and manages daily crew assignments.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensures safety and environmental compliance as well as oversees daily field operations.
• Directs all safety program activities as well as implements policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conducts incident investigations and is responsible for identifying and implementing corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Reviews and approves time and attendance information reported for all location employees.
• Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, promoting business and broadening customer base and markets.
• Maintains follow-up with customer to ensure expectations are met and maintained.
• Manages product and service quality for assigned location.
• Responsible for resource planning regarding daily jobs to include equipment use and maintenance, materials and manning.
• Oversees billing activities and completion and submission of field tickets.
• Manages, understands and reports on revenue and expenses for location
• Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with location staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives.
• Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs.
• Collaborates with other managers and locations to assist with equipment or crews as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Bilingual candidates given preference

• Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Operations management.

• Minimum 4 years in a supervisory or managerial position

• Knowledge of and experience in the well servicing or related oil and gas industry.
