Locksmith Technician (No Experience Needed – Paid Training, $700–$1,000/Week Starting)

This is a performance-based role within the service industry, meaning the better you perform, the more money you make. You will start with foundational work and continue learning higher-paying skills as you grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Responding to incoming jobs and dispatches
• Driving to customers throughout your assigned service area
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers
• Discussing pricing and providing solutions
• Performing services such as:
• Lockouts (home and vehicle)
• Lock changes and rekeys
• Progressing into commercial work
• Learning automotive key programming (advanced work)

Growth and Earning Potential

Start: Lockouts and basic services
Next: Rekeys and lock changes
Then: Commercial work
Advanced: Automotive key programming

As your skillset improves, you will take on more jobs and higher-value work.

Top-performing technicians who are fully trained across all services can expect to earn $1,500–$2,000+ per week.

Pay

• Starting: $700–$1,000 per week

What the Job Is Actually Like

We want applicants to have a clear understanding of the position before accepting the job.

This is a mobile service position, so driving is a significant part of the job. Some calls may be close together, while others may require longer drives throughout your assigned service area.

Not every job has the same value. Some calls will be higher-paying, while others will be smaller jobs. Workload also varies—some days are busy and others are slower. Because compensation is performance-based, daily and weekly earnings can vary.

You will also be working directly with customers. Some customers will be easy to work with, while others may question pricing, compare prices, decline service, or become frustrated. Technicians need to be comfortable discussing pricing professionally, handling objections, and staying composed when a customer pushes back.

Like any trade, becoming successful takes time and experience. Your first few days may not represent what you can earn once you become more experienced and efficient. Successful technicians improve their mechanical skills, communication, sales ability, and efficiency over time.

If you strongly dislike driving, are uncomfortable discussing pricing with customers, or need every day to produce the exact same amount of income, this position may not be the right fit.

Schedule

• Monday–Saturday (Sundays off)
• On-call during your shift (12-hour availability)
• Workload varies; some days are busy, others are slower
• Must be available for the full shift
