Role Description This full-time, on-site Locksmith / Door Hardware Installer role is based in New Braunfels, TX. The role involves installing, servicing, and repairing locks, door hardware, and related security components for commercial and industrial facilities. Day-to-day tasks include rekeying and keying systems, fitting and adjusting doors and frames, troubleshooting hardware issues, and performing routine maintenance to ensure safe, secure operation. The Locksmith / Door Hardware Installer will collaborate with project managers and technicians to support access control and security projects, maintain accurate documentation of work performed, and adhere to safety and quality standards on all job sites.

Qualifications

• Locksmithing skills, including installation, rekeying, master key systems, and lock repair.
• Maintenance & Repair and general Maintenance skills for doors, frames, and security hardware.
• Exerience reading blueprints and hardware schedules for commercial construction or retrofit projects.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to work on-site in varying environments, lift and move hardware and doors as needed, and follow all safety protocols.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with construction teams, clients, and supervisors.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around New Braunfels, TX.
• Previous experience in locksmithing, door hardware installation, or commercial construction is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
