Locum Pharmacist

• Monitor medication and healthcare product inventory and report stock shortages to management.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and organisation of medications and healthcare products.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organisation in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist the pharmacy team in daily operational activities when required.

4. Records and Documentation

• Ensure medication dispensing records and related documentation are accurately maintained and updated.
• Maintain proper records of pharmacy activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the confidentiality of customer information and prescription records.

5. Professional Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail when performing assigned duties.
• Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a recognised Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
• Be registered with the Pharmacy Board Malaysia and hold a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC), as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Possess good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Be flexible and willing to work according to mutually agreed locum schedules or shifts.
• Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting will be an added advantage.
