Locum Sonographer

Surgimed Healthcare Ltd - run by clinicians, providing non-obstetric ultrasound (NOUS) services in the community. We are seeking sonographers with general NOUS experience, full or part-time to cover a period of maternity leave and additional workload. Our current scope of work is NHS but may move into private practice

Applicants will have:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in acute/community healthcare setting within UK health system
• Experience of working with ultrasound equipment
• Relevant Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent
• Membership of appropriate professional body with valid registration
• A professional attitude towards, clients, colleagues and members of the public
• Ability to undertake ultrasound procedures efficiently and effectively, adhering to best practice and complying with codes of practice - general ultrasound procedures, MSK would also be desirable.
• Experience to work independently in a mobile environment travelling to GP practices across Medway and Swale, even further afield in East and West Kent.

Pay: £30.00-£40.00 per hour
