Locums Pathologist

Seeking a qualified Pathologist to handle approximately 3,000 surgical pathology cases annually, including anatomic and clinical pathology and around 100 cytology cases (FNA, no Pap smears). Responsibilities include peripheral smear reviews, blood bank coverage, large specimen grossing, and frozen sections. The role does not involve bone marrow procedures or autopsies.

Additional duties include providing vacation coverage and ensuring accurate case documentation via an online portal. The position offers competitive compensation, paid malpractice insurance, and pre-paid travel and housing expenses.

Ideal candidates possess relevant qualifications and experience in pathology, with skills in grossing, cytology, and blood bank management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
