Lodge Activity Guide

Responsibilities

1. Guest Services & Hosting

• Welcome guests during check-in and assist with check-out.
• Be the main English-speaking contact for guests throughout their stay.
• Give guests a tour of the lodge and explain the facilities, activities, and local community.
• Create a friendly atmosphere and encourage guests to socialize.
• Arrange steam room sessions and help with any requests or needs during their stay.

2. Activity Coordination

• Organize and confirm all guest activities, such as:
• Tea garden tours
• Trekking - Bamboo rafting
• Cycling tours
• Cooking classes
• Cultural experiences
• Arrange transportation with drivers and local service providers.
• Coordinate schedules with guides and ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Lead walking tours of the Lisu village for guests.
• Recommend and promote additional experiences in a helpful, guest-focused way.

3. Product & Programme Development

• Work with the Bangkok office to create new guest experiences.
• Share guest feedback and suggest improvements based on what visitors enjoy or request.
• Support special projects, events, and new initiatives assigned by management. Skills this role requires
• Strong English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality mindset.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Confidence in guiding tours and speaking to groups.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm under pressure.
• Interest in local culture, nature, and sustainable tourism.
• Ability to coordinate with different teams (guides, drivers, operations, and management).

Qualifications

1. Full working rights in Thailand.
2. Good command of Thai and English (spoken, written, and reading).
3. Strong customer service and hospitality mindset.
4. Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
6. Ability to coordinate effectively with guides, drivers, and local partners.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
9. Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, guest relations, or a related field is an advantage.
10. Passion for cultural tourism, community-based experiences, and outdoor activities.
11. Flexible and willing to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours when required.
