Lodge Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Lodge Manager to oversee the daily operations of our eco-lodge in Hokkaido, Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for guest services, sales, property maintenance, and overall lodge operations while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Job Responsibilities:

1.     Manage the day-to-day operations of the lodge.

2.     Deliver excellent guest service and ensure high guest satisfaction.

3.     Drive bookings, sales, and revenue growth.

4.     Handle guest enquiries, reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.

5.     Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, and property upkeep.

6.     Manage vendors, contractors, and operational requirements.

7.     Ensure the lodge is maintained to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.

8.     Prepare operational reports and support business planning.

9.     Perform any other tasks assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements:

1.     Minimum Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.

2.     At least 3 years' experience in hotel, resort, lodge, homestay, or hospitality operations.

3.     Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

4.     Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.

5.     Experience in sales, guest relations, and property operations.

6.     Willing to relocate and work in Hokkaido, Japan.

7.     Valid passport with eligibility to obtain the necessary work visa.

Language Requirements:

1.     Fluent in English (spoken and written).

2.     JLPT N2 or above preferred.

3.     Candidates with JLPT N3 and relevant hospitality management experience may also be considered.

4.     Ability to communicate with Japanese guests, suppliers, contractors, and local authorities will be an added advantage.

Salary & Benefits:

1. Attractive Overseas Package: JPY 350,000 - 400,000 per month.
2. Accommodation provided.

4. Up to 2 weeks home leave annually (April to September).
5. Return air ticket provided once every two years.
6. 1-year or 2-year contract available.
