LOGISTIC ADMIN

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Logistic Admin to join the VALUEHOME FURNITURE TRADING team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of our furniture inventory throughout our supply chain. As Logistic Admin, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, coordinating between suppliers, warehouses, and delivery teams to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure timely delivery of products to our customers. This role is essential to supporting our retail operations and maintaining the high standards of service our customers expect from VALUEHOME FURNITURE TRADING.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate logistics records, including inventory tracking, shipment documentation, and delivery confirmations
• Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse staff to ensure timely receipt and organisation of furniture stock
• Process purchase orders and monitor order status from placement through delivery
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices
• Track shipments and provide customers and internal teams with delivery updates and estimated arrival times
• Manage warehouse scheduling and coordinate with delivery teams to optimise routes and ensure efficient product distribution
• Handle logistics queries and resolve any issues related to shipping, damaged goods, or delayed deliveries
• Maintain organised filing systems for all logistics documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Support inventory reconciliation and report stock discrepancies
• Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics partners to negotiate rates and ensure cost-effective operations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in logistics administration or a similar supply chain role within the retail or furniture industry
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Familiarity with logistics documentation and customs procedures is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration is advantageous
