Logistic Associate

Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistics, Shipping & Customs Coordination

• Arrange inbound and outbound logistics for both local and international shipments.
• Collaborate closely with forwarders, logistics providers, brokers, and truckers for pickups, shipment tracking, bookings (sea/air), stock transfers, and customs clearance.
• Prepare and validate shipping documentation, including Invoices, Packing Lists, COO, and HS Codes.
• Resolve customs clearance issues and logistics queries to avoid shipment delays or demurrage.
• Support transportation planning for urgent/critical shipments and schedule scrap pull-outs.
• Prepare and monitor bad order reports, communicating issues directly with service providers.

2. Inventory & Warehouse Operations

• Assist in conducting regular physical cycle counts, full inventory audits, stock reconciliation, and data entry.
• Review and endorse freight and warehouse expenses for payment approval by the SCM Manager.

3. Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Submit daily and weekly SCM reports (e.g., Daily Import Monitoring, Weekly SCM Lead Measures, On-Time Delivery Report, Weekly Shipment Record).
• Work closely with Warehouse and Sales teams to support operational flow and site improvement initiatives.
• Participate in problem-solving, task forces, and policy/procedure improvement committees.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in logistics, customs documentation, or shipping operations is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures, shipping documents (COO, HS Code, Packing List), and inventory cycle counts.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Pay: RM1,950.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
