Logistic Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator provides support in managing and coordinating logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement, storage, and delivery of goods. This role involves handling administrative tasks, maintaining records, and assisting in the implementation of logistics strategies to meet organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and preparing materials as per requested by operation & clients
• Coordinate daily logistics activities including receiving, issuing, and returning materials
• Track delivery status, material condition, and logistics performance indicators
• Support reverse logistics processes, including receiving, issuance and return
• Ensure materials are well-organized for efficient storage and retrieval
• Implement and maintain proper labeling and categorization of stock items
• Regularly check stock levels and update inventory records accurately
• Conduct routine stock movement and periodic stock counts, reporting discrepancies promptly
• Assist in arranging material distribution to designated locations
• Coordinate with site supervisor and subcontractor to ensure timely delivery

About you

• STPM or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, inventory management, and supply chain processes

• Knowledge of inventory software and tools (e.g., SQL)

• Proficiency in logistics software and fleet management tools

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and fleet operations

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping

• Good communication and coordination skills to work with drivers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple logistics tasks
