LOGISTIC DISPATCHER

Job Summary:

A Logistics Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, vehicles, and drivers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. This role involves scheduling routes, communicating with drivers, tracking shipments, and resolving any transportation issues in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, assign, and monitor delivery routes for drivers
• Dispatch drivers and vehicles based on delivery schedules and priorities
• Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, delays, and issues
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, customers, and logistics partners
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
• Respond to emergencies, delays, or customer concerns promptly
• Optimize routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
