Logistic Executive

Responsibilities:

• Material & Inventory Control: Track daily stock levels of construction materials (e.g., cement, steel, pipes), manage delivery orders (DO), and issue reminders to prevent site shortages.
• Transportation & Fleet Coordination: Plan delivery routes, schedule heavy vehicle/machinery movements, and coordinate freight carriers or internal transport.
• Site Delivery & Access Management: Coordinate vehicle arrival times, offloading zones, and traffic routing to prevent congestion around active construction gates.
• Vendor & Supplier Liaison: Communicate with external suppliers, manufacturers, and sub-contractors to confirm order fulfillment, negotiate rates, and resolve delivery delays.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare daily and monthly stock-take reports, verify delivery receipts, and update ERP or logistics tracking software.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure site deliveries and material handling comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and local road regulations.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Skills & Experiences:

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on logistics or site coordination experience, ideally within the construction or heavy engineering sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel), ERP/logistics software, and inventory tracking tools.
• Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving under pressure, timeline management, vendor negotiation, and cross-functional communication.
