Logistic Executive

About the role

Ray Tech (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Logistic Executive to join our dynamic warehousing, storage and distribution operations based in Johor Bahru District, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through our supply chain. As a Logistic Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics activities, optimising warehouse operations and maintaining high standards of service delivery. This role is essential to our company's objective of providing reliable and cost-effective logistics solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage and dispatch of goods
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems
• Arrange transportation of goods and liaise with shipping companies and delivery partners
• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Optimise warehouse space and implement efficient storage solutions
• Supervise warehouse staff and ensure adherence to health and safety standards
• Track shipments and provide customers with timely delivery updates
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve logistics-related issues promptly
• Maintain relationships with logistics partners and negotiate service agreements

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
• 3-5 years of actual experience in logistics, warehouse operations or supply chain management
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management and shipping procedures
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and external partners
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail in handling logistics documentation
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the logistics industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Preferably, experience with customs clearance, freight forwarding or international logistics would be an advantage
• Experiences incoming and outgoing shipment arrangement and shipment documentations
• Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin speaking preferable for easy communicate with our shipment arrangement
