ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Logistic Intern at Poh Fatt Transport & Enterprise Sdn Bhd, you will gain practical experience in the daily operations of a fast-paced logistics and transportation company. This full-time internship, based in Cheng, Melaka, offers valuable exposure to fleet coordination, delivery operations, warehouse activities, and logistics documentation while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

What You'll Be Doing

• Check and verify goods loaded onto lorries to ensure they match the Delivery Order (DO).
• Liaise with the Logistics Scheduler to ensure the correct goods are assigned to the appropriate lorry for delivery.
• Monitor and record daily loading activities while maintaining accurate logistics documentation.
• Input fuel consumption data and prepare daily lorry reports, including idling hours and fuel cost records.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel, drivers, and transport teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Assist in preparing delivery records, transport reports, and other logistics-related documentation.
• Support stocktake activities and warehouse organization when required.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and maintain accurate operational records.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation Management, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented and responsible with strong organizational skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, schedulers, and other team members.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
