Logistic Manager

About the role

This is a Logistics Manager position overseeing end-to-end international and domestic freight forwarding operations, warehouse management, and supply chain optimization across sea, air, and land freight channels.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end international and domestic freight forwarding operations (Sea, Air, and Land freight)
• Coordinate import/export documentation and manage customs clearance processes
• Ensure strict compliance with international shipping regulations
• Direct and optimize daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch
• Ensure maximum space utilization and maintain high standards of safety and security
• Negotiate rates and build strong relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate regular stock takes and cycle counts
• Ensure high inventory accuracy using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Analyze supply chain workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Reduce logistics costs, minimize transit times, and improve overall warehouse efficiency

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Logistics Manager
• Strong, hands-on background in both freight forwarding and warehousing operations
• In-depth understanding of customs regulations, INCOTERMS, and international import/export procedures
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and enterprise ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Outstanding negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership ability to manage, train, and motivate warehouse and logistics teams
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate with international forwarders, global suppliers, and overseas agents
