Logistic Planning Assistant

Job Responsibilities(included but not limited to):

• To assist in the daily planning and coordination of deliveries and transportation arrangements.
• To coordinate delivery schedules with drivers, transporters, forwarding agents and suppliers.
• To prepare and maintain delivery orders, shipping documents and other logistics-related documentation.
• To ensure timely and accurate updating of logistics and delivery records.
• To assist in planning vehicle and transportation requirements based on delivery schedules.
• To monitor inventory movement and assist in maintaining accurate stock and logistics records.
• To follow up on delivery issues, delays, shortages or discrepancies and escalate them to the relevant parties.
• To ensure logistics activities comply with Company procedures and relevant safety requirements.
• To undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, planning or warehouse operations.
• Good coordination, communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Position to be based in Ipoh, Perak.
