Logistic Staff

About the role

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the distribution of finished goods from the manufacturing facility to local customers, distributors, warehouses. This role ensures that all deliveries are executed accurately, on schedule, and in a cost-effective manner while maintaining high standards of customer service, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies and transportation regulations. The position works closely with internal departments and logistics service providers to ensure seamless order fulfillment and continuous improvement of distribution processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and schedule daily local deliveries to meet customer requirements and business objectives.
• Collaborate with shipping, warehouse, sales, and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Prepare and maintain delivery schedules to optimize distribution operations.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve transportation and delivery issues.
• Ensure customer orders are delivered accurately, completely, and within the agreed delivery timelines.
• Track shipments from pickup through final delivery and provide timely status updates as needed.
• Coordinate with second-party logistics (2PL) providers to monitor delivery performance and address operational concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipment status, and distribution activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards.
• Analyze distribution performance metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.

About you

• Preferably a graduate of Customs Administration, Engineering, Business Management, or any related/equivalent program.
• At least 2 years of working experience in an import or export industry with similar responsibilities and accountabilities.
• Knowledgeable in the import, export or logistics industry.
• Excellent communication skills dealing with foreign suppliers and third-party logistics.
• Computer literate and well versed in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and technology savvy.
• Coachable, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Result-oriented with a high level of productivity.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.
• Able to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment and under pressure.
• Flexible and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
