LOGISTIC (STEEL STRUCTURE)

Job Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Shipment Tracking: Coordinate domestic loading and port consolidation in China; manage Malaysia customs clearance, local haulage, and final site delivery.
2. On-Site Coordination & Inspection: Supervise on-site container unstuffing and delivery schedule; attend physical customs/CIDB cargo inspections at ports/warehouses; document and report any material damages.
3. Authority Liaison & Client Communication: Act as the primary contact for CIDB permits (COA) and customs compliance; independently interface with clients, Main Contractors, and local forwarders to resolve transit conflicts.
4. Cost Accounting & Audit: Audit logistics invoices against quotation agreements, maintain detailed cost breakdowns, and actively minimize port storage and container demurrage costs.

Key Requirements & Skills

1. Education & Experience: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields, with hands-on experience in construction/project logistics (China-to-Malaysia preferred)
2. Regulatory & Technical Knowledge: Familiar with CIDB import regulations, construction material HS Code classification, and standard Malaysian customs clearance procedures.
3. Mobility & Travel Flexibility: Highly flexible and adaptable to frequent traveling across ports, warehouses, and various project sites within Malaysia.
4. Language & Communication: Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken & written) to smoothly bridge communication between China team/suppliers and Malaysian local authorities/clients.
5. On-Site Resilience & Safety Awareness: Physically fit for active construction site environments, with strong problem-solving skills for site emergencies and high HSE (Safety) awareness.
