Logistic Supervisor

Key responsibilities

• Supervising and managing logistics team members to ensure optimal performance
• Monitoring warehouse operations such as materials handling
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient movement/collection of goods and timely delivery to clients
• Scheduling and planning logistics operations to maximise resource utilisation and meet delivery deadlines
• Maintaining health and safety standards across all logistics activities and conducting regular safety briefings
• Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators, including on-time delivery rates and operational efficiency metrics
• Resolving operational challenges and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity
• Training and developing team members to improve their skills and performance
• Maintaining accurate documentation and records of all logistics activities and transactions

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a logistics or warehouse supervisory role
• Proven track record of successfully managing and leading logistics teams
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics operations
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the logistics industry
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Proficiency in relevant software systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
