Logistic Supervisor

About the role

This role involves supervising and coordinating daily logistics, dispatch, and delivery operations. You will plan and monitor dispatch schedules, routes, and delivery assignments, assign shipments and tasks to drivers and logistics personnel, and ensure timely completion of all assigned routes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily logistics, dispatch, and delivery operations
• Plan and monitor daily dispatch schedules, routes, and delivery assignments
• Assign shipments, routes, and tasks to drivers, riders, delivery helpers, and other logistics personnel
• Monitor the status of deliveries and ensure timely completion of assigned routes
• Track and address delayed, failed, returned, damaged, or missing shipments
• Coordinate with customers, clients, drivers, riders, warehouse teams, and other departments regarding delivery concerns
• Monitor shipment volume and ensure proper handling, sorting, loading, unloading, and dispatch of packages or goods
• Ensure accurate scanning, encoding, documentation, and updating of shipment records
• Monitor fleet and vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, fuel usage, and operational readiness
• Ensure drivers and riders comply with company policies, road safety requirements, and operational procedures

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred
• At least 2–3 years of experience in logistics, delivery, transportation, distribution, or warehouse operations
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is strongly preferred
• Experience in a logistics, courier, freight, distribution, or delivery company is an advantage
• Knowledge of dispatching, route planning, fleet coordination, and delivery operations
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple operational concerns simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, or extended hours when operationally required
