Logistic/ Warehouse Operations

Mon - Fri Office Hours

Employment: 3 Months Contract to Permanent Staff

• Plan and manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, handling, distribution, and delivery.
• Ensure all operations follow company standards, policies, procedures, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.
• Plan and manage manpower, equipment, storage space, and other operational resources.
• Monitor cargo and material handling activities, including inbound and outbound operations, consolidation, and inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues such as short shipments, wrong shipments, inventory discrepancies, quality issues, equipment breakdowns, and system failures.
• Manage warehouse teams, including manpower planning, overtime, performance, onboarding, offboarding, misconduct, and daily work activities.
• Conduct regular training, safety briefings, and on-the-job training, and maintain proper training records.
• Identify safety risks and hazards through regular Gemba Walks and encourage employees to report safety concerns.
• Use warehouse systems and technology such as WMS and RF handheld devices, and take corrective action when system issues occur.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, optimise space and resources, and improve overall operational performance.
• Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives and measure their results.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and contractors.
• Identify potential operational issues early and escalate them when additional support or resources are required.
• Maintain accurate operational records, documentation, data, and billing activities.
