What they need
Overview
Are you a self-motivated logistics professional who thrives on autonomy?
We are seeking a highly organised, self-directed Logistics & Client Operations Specialist to take full ownership of our growing site in Bicester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an independent professional who prefers running day-to-day operations with minimal direct supervision. The role offers a dynamic, three-way split between physical warehouse management, customer account coordination (via email/telephone), and driving to handle local parcel collections and deliveries to our Uxbridge site.
While an articulated forklift license is highly preferred, full training will be provided for the right candidate. If you love a varied workday that keeps you moving between the warehouse, the office, and the open road, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations: Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and organize stock. Handle heavy lifting, picking, packing, and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Driving & Collections: Drive a Long Wheelbase (LWB) van to handle local mail and parcel collections in Bicester, followed by scheduled drop-offs at our Uxbridge site.
- Client & Account Management: Manage client communications via email using Microsoft Office 365 (Word/Excel).
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming/outgoing goods, maintain accurate inventory on our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and take verification photos to share with clients.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes: by verifying incoming deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments
What We Are Looking For
- Driving Credentials: A clean, valid UK driving license. You must be completely comfortable driving a Long Wheelbase (LWB) vehicle.
- Forklift Experience: An Articulated Forklift license is preferred, but not essential. We will provide full training for the right candidate.
- Logistics Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment role, with a strong understanding of stock control and materials handling.
- Tech Literacy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and open to learning Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Physical Capability: Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks throughout the day.
- Autonomy & Drive: A reliable self-starter who can confidently run a site alone, maintain high safety standards, and keep our supply chain moving smoothly.
- Working hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00am – 17:30 pm with 1 hour lunch ) – overtime possible during peak periods
