Logistics & Expediting Executive

Objective

Ensure smooth order fulfilment starting from communication with suppliers to liaising with freight forwarders, brokers, custom clearance and finally on time delivery of materials to customers. Handle and coordinate all logistics, expediting and shipping matters with suppliers, warehouse and involved third parties. We are looking for an ambitious hard-working person who is willing to learn and has an interest in a dynamic work environment. Successful candidates will be able to grow within the company.

Responsibilities / Main Tasks:

Logistics:

• Liaise with suppliers, third party logistics providers (3PLs), customs brokers for import procedure and timely collection and delivery of cargo/shipments
• Make sure that the committed delivery date of purchase order is met by pro-actively following-up and pushing suppliers and third parties
• Handle and verify full set of shipping documentations for both import and export processes carefully
  (Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, Certificate, Form E, AK, import entry and other related documents)
• Check and make sure that the material certificate of the imported goods are according to purchase order
• Ensure that warehouse will be notified for incoming shipments, keep customer informed of material status and delivery to site
• Plan the shipment process in advance to prevent unforeseen disruptions in supply chain
• Execute and be responsible for the logistics and documentation part of a project order
• Detect problems that arise prior and during incoming shipments to the warehouse
• Any other arising tasks related to shipping, logistics, expediting and the supply chain management

Generic Job Requirements/Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business or other related field

• Minimum 2 years experience in international trade, logistics, supply chain or related position

• Knowledge of Thai import regulations, customs formalities and free trade benefits (Form E, AK) for all modes of shipping, HS Codes, Incoterms 2020

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English is a must

• Computer literacy with experience in MS Office

• Strong planning and analytical skills
