Job Position: Logistics and Facility Manager (Oil Drilling)

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• A Logistics and Facility Manager oversees a company's physical infrastructure, warehouses, fleet, and transportation networks to ensure safe, cost-effective, and uninterrupted business operations.

Core Responsibilities

Logistics, Fleet & Supply Chain:

• Fleet & Transport Operations: Manage company vehicles, maintenance, dispatch schedules, delivery routes, and freight optimization.
• Vendor & Regulatory Oversight: Negotiate with third-party logistics providers, track delivery KPIs, and ensure strict compliance with transport and safety regulations.

Facility Management:

• Maintenance & Infrastructure: Oversee building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and coordinate routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• HSE & Cost Control: Enforce workplace safety standards, manage external service contractors, and optimize space and utility costs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education & Experience: Typically holds a Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering, backed by 3 to 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Technical & Soft Skills: Proficient in ERP/inventory management software, regulatory compliance, budgeting, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership.
