Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Stations Supervisor with strong Logistics & Freight Operations experience to oversee daily Air and Ocean import/export operations. In this role, you will lead operational teams, manage daily workloads, ensure SOP compliance, drive root cause analysis (RCA) for operational errors, and serve as the main point of contact for customer escalations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

People Supervision & Leadership

• Supervise, guide, and train assigned team members and trainees.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, shift compliance, and time tracking.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, 1-on-1s, and coaching sessions.
• Ensure optimal staffing coverage and direct communication with client contacts (POCs).

Operations & Managed Transport

• Oversee day-to-day Air/Ocean import and export workflows across station accounts.
• Balance operational volume against team capacity, prioritizing urgent shipments to avoid delays and unnecessary costs.
• Monitor transactions to ensure timely execution and resolve operational backlogs.

Escalations & Root Cause Analysis

• Act as the primary escalation point for customer and operational issues.
• Lead root cause investigations for operational errors, process deviations, or system failures.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce error recurrence.

SOP Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain, update, and standardize station SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Submit documentation for QA review and publish updates on Doc360.
• Identify process bottlenecks and execute operational improvements.

Reporting & Metrics

• Generate weekly and monthly productivity, utilization, and attendance reports.
• Lead performance and Power BI reviews with team members and client POCs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Proven supervisory experience in Air and Ocean Freight Import/Export logistics.
• Methodology: Strong background in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and SOP process creation/governance.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook), Power BI, Jira, and Freight Management platforms (Mastery, TMF/TMFF).
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, time management, and crisis management skills under tight deadlines.
• Language: Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.
