Logistics and Inventory Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics and Inventory Associateto join our tire distribution team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of tires, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and track tire shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers and distribution centers.
• Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing tire shipments.
• Work closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline logistics operations specific to tire distribution.
• Prepare and organize shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, warehouse receiving reports, and other paperwork.
• Assist in resolving shipment delays, damaged goods, and other logistical challenges.
• Utilize logistics software and tracking systems to optimize supply chain operations.
• Maintain good communication and relationships with vendors and transportation providers.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations, preferably in the tire or automotive industry.
• Familiarity with shipping software, inventory management systems
• Proficient in computer software like Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot logistics issues effectively.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols is a plus.
