LOGISTICS & OPERATIONS EXECUTIVES

About the role

Under general supervision of the Senior Logistics & Operations Manager and the Regional Senior SCM, the Logistics & Operations Executive is responsible to execute the company's logistics planning, implementing, and controlling the efficient and effective flow, storage of merchandise or non-merchandise, and services from the point of production to the point of sales to meet clients' requirements. Continuously monitor, measure and review to improve efficiency and effectiveness in terms of both cost and process.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the procurement and order fulfilment policy, procedure and system
• Liaison with HQ/Regional HQ, internal stakeholder(s), manufacturing plants
• Manage and control reverse logistics process and procedures
• Control import-export operations
• Control transportation between manufacturing plants to warehouses and to the points of sales
• Liaise and negotiate with freight forwarders and/or 3PL vendor(s)
• Control warehousing procedure and system, merchandise inspection procedure
• Control inventory management system and procedure
• Perform 3PL billing verification
• Calculate logistics expense by sales channel

About you

• Bachelor in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Business Management or related field or equivalent work experience
• 5-10 years working experience in a logistics / supply chain / import-export position
• Experience in logistics/supply chain/import-export
• Experience in managing 3PL vendors and freight forwarders
• Familiar with international freight procedures as well as TH import-export procedures
• Good knowledge of supply chain management
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• English communications both writing and speaking is a must requirement
• Experience in multinational companies and/or international business environment
