Logistics Assistant

• Responsible for daily shipping arrangement and invoicing.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders related to logistics matter.
• Check charges from freight forwarders and verify invoices from freight forwarders.
• Responsible for other logistics matter ie. COO application, provide data and information for completion of Freight Reconciliation Report etc.
• Responsible for inbound shipment monitoring.
• Responsible for execution of freight quotation.
• Prepare, issue and compilation of shipping documents for Customs Clearance according to the required documentation process and compliance with the Customs regulations and requirement for imported and exported goods.
• Responsible to assist Finance Department by supplying required data and information in renewal ATS Status upon expiration.
• Involve in implementation, maintenance and improvement for 5S, ISO 14001 (EMS), ISO 9001 (QMS) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) in the company.
• Any other assignments or delegations from superior.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma, together with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Logistics,
• Preferably with experience in MNC manufacturing environment.
• Exposure in an ISO certified (EMS & QMS) manufacturing environment.
• Good command of written and oral English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good team work spirit and good communication skills.
• Strong sense of foresight and have an "eye for detail"
